  • Vitaliya is a multilingual ENL educator and leader with over 17 years of experience supporting culturally and linguistically diverse students and families across Ukraine and the United States. She began her career as Head of the ENL Department at Khust Public School #3 in Ukraine, where she supervised 13 teachers, developed dual-language curricula, and supported more than 900 students from Hungarian, Romanian, and Roma backgrounds, achieving a zero dropout rate.

After immigrating to the U.S., Vitaliya served as ENL Coordinator at Blueprint Middle School in the Bronx, leading a department of five teachers and 130 students representing over 20 languages.

Vitaliya introduced data-driven instructional practices that boosted student achievement and created family engagement initiatives, including ENL Family Nights and parent English classes.

In her current role as ENL Consultant, she collaborates with educators to integrate English language development into different courses, bridging language acquisition across the curriculum.

She is passionate about working with children. She loves hearing their life stories, their experiences as immigrants, and the struggles they go through in their lives. Being an immigrant herself, she can relate to many students, and it inspires her. She proves to them through her knowledge across subjects and skillful teaching that education is the key to success. It can help them open many doors.
